In an intensely romantic scene in Yash Chopra’s latest release Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Shahrukh Khan approaches Katrina Kaif quietly but steadily at a deserted metro station in London. The two come too-close-for-comfort and SRK grabs his lady-love hastily. And then the never-seen-and-never-done-before in a Shahrukh movie happens….the King Khan, who is known for NOT kissing his heroines on the big screen, plants a brief peck on Kat’s luscious lips.Now this is quite a feat for the man who has been maintaining all these years that he’s not comfortable kissing onscreen. But with that sweet smooch, SRK has certainly broke in to the league of men who have locked lips – or at least touched lips – with their onscreen ladyloves. Aamir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Imran Khan, Emraan Hashmi, Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan, Ranbir Kapoor and most other B-town heroes have no problem snogging for the camera.And now only one superstar is making his absence conspicuous in that list – bhai aka Salman Khan has never indulged in a lip-lock, never on the silver screen, at least. Surprisingly, Sallu’s former flame Katrina Kaif has been effortlessly giving and receiving a bouquet of kisses from the dishiest of B-town hunks on a regular basis. But Salman has never got a single kissie from the leggy lass…not that we have been allowed to see!

One of the prime factors accounting for Dabangg’s super success, besides Salman Khan’s damdaar acting and superficial action was certainly its music, composed by versatile music composer duo Sajid-Wajid. Naturally Salman, who is known to have the knack of picking catchy music, settled for his favourite twosome to recreate their magic once again for his much-anticipated sequel.The album kickstarts with Dagabaaz re. Ask any music lover and they’ll bet the song is a replica of Mast mast do nain. Still, Dagabaaz re is a simple melodious and easy-on-the-ears number. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Shreya Ghoshal revisit the magic created by them in Mast mast do nain and take it further with this Sufi-base track, nicely composed with a qawwali feel attached.Pandeyjee seeti borrows heavily from Manna Dey’s yesteryear hit Chalat musafir, but finely blends in a pinch of Munni badnaam; this one is crooned by Shreya, Mamta Sharma and Wajid. With Salman playing Pandeyjee – don’t be surprised to see him doing some crazy dance steps like Humka peeni hai in this yet another winner that Dabangg 2 can guarantee. This foot-tapping track is total dhamaal!A hugely hyped song on the album – Fevicol se, sung by Mamta Sharma and featuring Kareena Kapoor – draws heavy inspiration from the Rajasthani folk number Holiya mein ude re gulaal. The desi lyrics that go Main hoon tandoori murgi piya, gatkaale piya alcohol se and Laundia patayenge miss call se ably support the raw gawti backdrop of the film. Mamta returns to what she’s known to do best – an ‘item number’ with another chartbuster track. This one is gonna stick with its fans for a long time!Saanso ne sounds similar to Taakte rehte tujhko and has the same romantic feel. A melodious hook and nice musical arrangements give you that quintessential 90’s song feel. Sonu Nigam and Tulsi Kumar perform their best. It doesn’t qualify as one of the best romantic songs ever, but has the potential to grow on you with time.Dabangg reloaded comes across as another powerful Sukhwinder Singh number. Like Omkara and the original Hud hud dabangg, this too will work well as a theme for the film and and for all Robinhood Pandey aka Sallu’s fans.In short, the album has a lot of similarities with its prequel Dabangg with respect to genres and singers. Sajid-Wajid tactfully replace each song of a genre with a new one. The remix numbers – Fevicol se, Pandeyjee seeti and Dabangg reloaded serve as icing on the cake for the potential-blockbuster album.

Kareena Kapoor  and Saif Ali Khan are official man and wife after 5 years of courtship. The two actors had a registered marriage on Tuesday at Saif’s Bandra residence and had oraganised a reception in the evening. Though the couple was rumoured to have had a nikaah in the evening, what has come to the fore is that Saifeena exchanged weddings rings and vows. Kareena’s mother Babita follows Christianity and hence they followed the Christian traditions to solemnize their wedding following a legal one in the morning."They just exchanged vows at the Taj Mahal hotel in Colaba. There were no `saath pheras`... They did not adhere to any particular style (of wedding)," Malhotra told reporters.The marriage at Saif`s residence here was a simple affair yesterday afternoon, but the post-wedding functions at the South Mumbai hotel saw a host of B-town celebs like Shah Rukh Khan with wife Gauri, Priety Zinta, Karan Johar, Tusshar Kapoor, Salman Khan`s sister Alvira, Anil Kapoor with daughter Sonam.Malhotra said that the 32-year-old actress wore Saif`s grandmother`s traditional gharara for the ceremony last night.The actor`s mother Sharmila Tagore had worn the same gharara at her own `nikaah`. She then passed it on to her son`s new wife.Delhi-based designer Ritu Kumar was given the responsibility of restoring and embellishing the gharara."I worked on the antique Pataudi gharara that was restored by Ritu Kumar for Kareena`s wedding... We did the final fittings and added a bit of touch of embroidery here and there," Malhotra said."When Saif and Kareena exchanged vows... She wore Sharmilaji`s gharara for some time," Malhotra said.Later, Kareena changed into a Malhotra creation for the post-wedding party and Saif donned a Banarsi brocade `achkan` by designer Raghvendra Rathore."Kareena wore a burgundy color embellished gharara with maroon duppatta. I gave a very old world charm to all the ghararas. The party had 80-100 people and went on till 3 am," Malhotra said. Malhotra has designed Kareena`s other outfits too, apart from clothes for sister Karisma, which they will wear at various wedding functions.Among family members present at the post-wedding party were Kareena`s father Randhir Kapoor, Babita, uncle Rajiv Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, wife Neetu son Ranbir Kapoor, Shashi Kapoor, Shammi Kapoor`s son Aditya, Sharmila Tagore, Soha Ali Khan with beau Kunal Khemu and Saif`s sister Saba.Wishing his daughter and son-in-law a blissful life, Randhir Kapoor said, "I request all fans of Kareena and Saif to wish the couple a happy marriage... We are happy that they married without any conversion. Here two lovers have got married... They are two lovely people."

Amitabh Bachchan`s daughter Shweta and her son, Boney Kapoor`s son Arjun Kapoor and his uncle Sanjay Kapoor, Fardeen Khan and designer Vikram Phadnis were also seen at the party.For the reception in Delhi tomorrow, Kareena will wear a pink gharara or a pink-blue or green sari, he said.The wedding functions were held at Saif-Kareena`s new residence - Satguru Sharan - in suburban Bandra on October 14 followed by a registered marriage yesterday at Saif`s home and a reception at Taj Mahal Hotel last night.42-year-old Saif has two children - son Ibrahim and daughter Sara - from his previous marriage to actress Amrita Singh in 1991.Kareena, who comes from a family of actors and is the great granddaughter of Prithviraj Kapoor, ended her three-year relationship with Shahid Kapoor while they were working on the film `Jab We Met` (2007).She began dating Saif, son of former Indian cricket captain Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and actress Sharmila Tagore, while working in `Tashan` (2008).The actor was anointed as the new Nawab of Pataudi after his father`s death last year.Saif and Kareena have featured together in many advertisements and films including `LOC Kargil`, `Omkara` and `Kurbaan`.
